  • Build a Bike. Terry Brown and Steve volunteered to oversee for our club.

  • Boy Scouts sponsored by our club. Need a Rotarian representative.


Fines and Happy Bucks: Fine-master Paul Willett presided without an Aloha shirt. Fines: Hal for this cowboy attire. Paul for his Hawaiian shirt. Happy Bucks: Howard – Women’s Car Care Clinic Oct 6. Hal H – 53rd anniversary. Chuck – took his grand kids to pizza and saw Paul W’s daughter. Mike Pinch – thanks to Delaine for doing a great job on Carina’s hair. Terry Brown - 50th anniversary celebrated on a fishing trip. Gary Glein G – Bowling is improving since he had his surgery.

Drawing: AnnMarie ran the drawing, Dick Vanberg won 10 tickets next meeting and Delaine pulled a white chip, missing out on the $381.00 pot and leaving 7 chips.


Program: Scott Junge – GHR Foundation Update. The Rotary Foundation is now 30 years old. This is OUR foundation. More than only awarding scholarships, our Avenues of Service now have access to those funds also. Scott announced a ¾ million donation from the Morris Foundation. Dave gave us the background about the Morris Foundation and why they chose to support GHRF. Thank yous Dave and Mame.

Sharon Shaffer – Star Awards. Membership needs to be more engaged, so Sharon led us in brainstorming nominees.
